All-Access Tickets cover the following

  1. Access to all place games with materials provided. (You are free to decide which place game(s) to attend, subject to availability.)
  2. Access to all talks, panels, workshops, and exhibitions during the 2-day plenary session.
  3. Ground transportation between main venue in (Kuala Lumpur) to place games and site visits venues (Penang, Klang, and other sites in Kuala Lumpur). Limited spaces are available for each place game and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Registration for place games will open in October.
  4. Meals and refreshments during plenary session (breakfast, lunch, tea break), and one Welcome Dinner (7 November). Meals will also to be provided at place games. 

Student Tickets cover the following

  1. Access to all talks, panels, workshops, and exhibitions during the 2-day plenary session.
  2. Meals during the plenary session (breakfast, lunch, tea break).2

Ticket prices do not cover:

1. Accommodation

2. Flights or other transport to/from Kuala Lumpur

3.Dinner (except for Welcome Dinner)

You can reserve a hotel room from any of our partner hotels or recommended hotels, listed on the Practical Information page.

No. A ticket is required to attend any session of Placemaker Week ASEAN. Ticket holders are free to attend as much or as little of the programme as they like*, but discounts will not be granted for those who only attend part of the programme. Ticket sales will remain open throughout the week of the conference.

*Student ticket holders may only attend the 2-day plenary session, excluding the Welcome Dinner.

Certificates will not automatically be issued, but if you need one to claim for CPD points or for other purposes, please send your request via email to hello@placemakerweek.com

Breakfast, lunch, and tea breaks will be served throughout Placemaker Week ASEAN. Holders of All-Access Tickets are also invited to attend a Welcome Dinner on 7 November. We will be providing a wide sampling of local cuisines, with options for vegetarians and those with gluten and nut intolerances/allergies. In addition to the meals provided, the main venue is walking distance from many local food stalls so you can try out even more Malaysian delicacies!

All meals provided are Halal unless otherwise stated.

Bank account details will be provided via confirmation email once you have reserved your ticket under the pay later option.

Transportation between venues will be provided at no added cost.
